Locally owned and operated since 2008, LoKa Tile has been one of the leading tile suppliers in the Northern Nevada, Reno / Sparks area. We are a full service design center with products ranging from porcelain tile, ceramic tile, LVT granite, marble, travertine, limestone, pebbles, glass, metal, mosaics, murals, leather tiles, and much more. We also have the largest odd size format tiles in the area. We love bold color and are not afraid to show it! LoKa can accommodate any design style and budget. As an Industry Partners with ASID and NKBA, our staff is dedicated to sharing knowledge and professional expertise on any tile/stone installation. About the Owner
Angela Handler, the proud owner of LoKa Tile Group, a locally owned tile and stone store in Northern Nevada. Deeply passionate about the art of construction and design thus making her career path the perfect fit. Born and raised in Reno / Sparks, Nevada, Angela is deeply committed to dedicating her time and resources to helping out the community in which she raises her two children and 3 fur babies.
Angela has been in the tile industry for 24 years in both the design and construction aspects. She previously sat on the the board of directors of the American Society of Interior Designers, Nevada/California chapter. She continues to assist the organization with continuing education credit events.
Angela is one of the founders of 39 North Downtown, a 501C3 organization dedicated to the revitalization of Sparks, NV. She also currently sits on the Board Of Directors for the Sparks Heritage Museum and Cultural Center. She and her son Zayne Swindells founded LoKa Cares, a group that has been feeding the houseless community every Friday for over 8 years.
You can find her enthusiastically taking on any challenge or crazy idea that comes her way. Her passion for the community shows by way of action and her hands on approach.
